Sunday work to start 20th of November

Australia post is looking to start weekend work for this years peak period on the 6th of November but Nambour depot and Gympie depot have decided that is too early and I agree. The 14th of November is our Christmas Party, so we will not be working that day if we can avoid it. So I have informed both Depots that we are looking at the 20th of November.

Gympie may even be pushed back a week if it is still not needed at that stage but Nambour shed will be working from that Sunday. At this stage Christmas Eve could still be a day we need to work according to Australia Post however both myself and the depot managers believe we should be able to avoid this. However, if there is still parcels left on Friday or parcels come up Friday night or Saturday morning of Christmas Eve they will have to be delivered.
