Last weeks numbers

Sorry again for the delay in last weeks numbers but here they are. Overall, for those who worked this weeks there has been yet another improvement across the board, which is great.

Last week we went over hours by 56.39 hours and this week, with people who worked we went over by 36.63, a saving of 19.76 hours over the week. What this means in real dollars is a saving of $652 for the company. What it also means is we are still over spending by $1208 this week. You can see how much of a difference that this is making to our profitability each week, and thank you for that.

There is still more we can do, we have adjusted start times again in Baringa and we are slowly working on ideas for Gympie and their late parcels but we are also working in the back ground on clock off times.

There is some strange instances with clock off times showing up, so if there is a reason you will have a period on your scanning data with no parcels being delivered, longer then usual to get to your first delivery or later clock off time then when you delivered your last parcel, please let us know.

If we ring you and ask you, please just let us know what the reason is, we have not cracked down on clock off times before, but we do need to make sure we are not accidently overpaying people for bad clocking off. We get all the data in the background, so it s easy for us to see when there is an issue.

Back to the numbers, congratulations to Gympie who this week, for those who delivered parcels they ended up going 7.62 hours under budget, ending up with a parcel rate of 19.10 across the team, with four people above the average we need and one, only just under. Very well done team.

Mooloolah continued their improvement finishing the week only 10.31 hours over budget with a parcel rate of 16.82 parcels per hour.

Maroochydore slipped ever so slightly last week going 33.94 hours over budget with a parcel rate of 15.26 parcels per hour. We do know there is some things that will always put Maroochydore behind the average but we are working through those things to see what can help it out.

Here is the break down of hours by parcel contract in the colourful way from last week:

  • Gympie - Parcels per hour - 19.12 (7.62 hours under spent)

  • Mooloolah - Parcels per hour - 16.82 (10.31 hours over spent)

  • Maroochydore - Parcels per hour - 15.26 (33.94 hours over spent)

So compared to last week we have

  • Gympie - Increase of 2.74 Parcels per hour (19.97 less hours over spent)

  • Mooloolah - Increase of 0.94 parcels per hour (3.75 hours less over spent)

  • Maroochydore - decrease of 0.32 parcels per hour (3.95 more hours over spent)
