Delivery cut off time

Wilkinson carriers is now a parcel only company for the foreseeable future and for safety reasons we do not deliver parcels after 4:30 pm unless absolutely necessary and approved by management from here on out. This means shifts will end no later then 5 pm unless approved first. It is a safety concern on multiple levels including driving at dusk, entering peoples property at dusk or after dark and a tool for us to manage fatigue levels.

If you believe you can't finish in time when you are loading your van, let management know. The Australia Post expectation for delivery rate is 26 parcels an hour, I expect 25 parcels an hour, especially out of the Baringa shed as the runs are so tight. 25 parcels an hour from your first delivery to your last delivery is a Key Performance Indicator for all roles in the company. We will be working with staff on how to improve your delivery rate from now on as it is an extremely important aspect of making this company profitable.
