Current Australia Post focus

Now we are over the peak period Australia Post is changing its focus away from just getting the parcels delivered back to more technical compliance.
Currently, there are two main focuses we are being tracked by Australia Post. The first is scanner compliance, the second is justifying the parcels we are carrying over.
As far as scanner compliance goes, you are all doing great, so very well done on that. For those that don't know, scanner compliance is just making sure every parcel is put in the scanner properly and removed from the scanner properly. The ways to fail this are to have parcels in your scanner at the end of the day or not adding them in at the start. Also, delivering a parcel twice or not carding it correctly is another way.
The second focus is a bit more complicated, and 95% of the time it is not an issue. Basically what Australia post wants to see if we have parcels carried over is that all drivers worked a full day. So if we leave 30 parcels for one run and another driver only does a 6-hour day, we have to explain to Australia Post why we didn't get those 30 parcels done. However, if we left those 30 parcels and all drivers worked a minimum of 7.6 hours, then no questions are asked.
What we need from parcel delivery staff is to work together to help clear parcels each day or at least make sure you have a full day yourself. Now I understand late parcels for Baringa were a huge issue over the peak period and could have added a lot to your day. Now we are out of peak, while there are some runs that still get a lot of late parcels, across the board, there usually isn't a huge amount of express coming through.
So please, help out where you can if others around you are struggling. If we can all work together to flatten the parcel numbers between drivers over the next few months we can all help each other have better days at work and the bonus of keeping Australia Post happy.
Thanks
